Capital Sisters CEO Patricia Foley Hinnen was invited to be an Encore Fellow and also was a semi-finalized for the Purpose Prize, a grant given to entrepreneurs who, in their second half of life, use their professional experience for social purpose.
Patricia was honored to have the opportunity to meet Nicholas Kristof, Keynote Speaker at the three day conference. Kristof and his wife Sheryl WuDunn brought to light struggles faced by women and girls around the globe in their #1 New York Times best seller Half the Sky. Their recently published second book A Path Appears is a showcase of individuals and organizations who are working to make a difference and make the world a better place.
